Behavior support services help families to identify and solve the problems causing the challenging behaviors at home. Rather than modifying behavior, Katie collaborates with the family to understand the function of the behavior and create an action plan.

Many children with special needs thrive on routine, yet this can be challenging to create and instill at home.
Katie supports your family in creating schedules & routines in the home. A schedule of activities with a predictable routine can build confidence and reduce challenging behaviors.
Individualized Coaching for Parents and Caregivers of Children With Special Needs
IEP Support
The years your child spends in school can be especially frustrating without the right support in place.
Katie will work with you to understand the IEP paperwork, brainstorm ideas and goals for an upcoming meeting, and/or attend a meeting as a teammate.
Building Independence
Children with special needs may need more support and structure to gain the skills needed to be independent.
Katie is passionate about teaching functional living skills to promote independence. She can provide your family with the knowledge and tools you need to support your child at the appropriate level to have more success in independent activities.
Overwhelm
The issues surrounding raising a child with special needs poses unique challenges for parents.
